Davey Jones Of The Monkees Gone Too Soon
So Sad to hear this, I remember the Monkees TV (not the Monkey's) show when I was a kid growing up. Davey, Michael, Peter and Mickey were once household names in the 60's. The band had quite a few hit songs in that era. Among the most popular Monkees songs are Daydream Believer, I'm a Believer, Last Train to Clarksville, Pleasant Valley and a few more. Davey Jones was the key focus singer and a great looking young man that aged very well. As happens to many young men though, time has a way of catching up and it certainly did with Davey Jones. Not once though did I ever hear a bad word about him.
I remember Davey Jones as a young and funny guy with a british accent, great voice and one of the best smiles in Hollywood.
