Desert Ridge is an area that's basically Phoenix 85050 and 85331 and just North of the 101 and Tatum Blvd. It's called the Desert Ridge Area because that's where the Desert Ridge Mall is located. It's also very close to the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Hotel which is a great luxury resort hotel. The Desert Ridge Mall is also the staple of the area. It's a large open area mall that has plenty of parking and some GREAT restaurants like the Yardhouse ( if you go to the Yardhouse try the Grilled Pastrami Sandwich).

There is also a children's play fountain area where lots of moms gather with their youngsters to cool off and meet other parents with children.

Desert Ridge is also 5-10 min away from Scottsdale and plenty more shopping and fine dining and amenities. So the general theme here is Location, Location, Location. Lots of folks looking for a home as a getaway 2nd home love the location because you can leave the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, head north up the 101 freeway and exit Tatum to arrive at Desert Ridge.
